Besides being a room for citizenship, the Ombudsman Office is also a tool that contributes to the SUS management. This is the room for you to express your complaints, suggestions, requests, denouncements, compliments, and to ask for information about health.
The SUS General Ombudsman Office believes that a well-informed individual has more conditions to fully exercise citizenship. Getting to know the citizen’s and the State’s rights and duties is the first step towards concretizing the Unified Health System’s principles. Moreover, information can lead citizens to think over the need for expanding the concept of health, which should mean anything that ultimately conceptualizes quality of life.
